One Health KE Forum hybrid event

Wednesday 1st April: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Life Sciences Innovation Centre (LSIC), Inverness (and online)

The One Health concept recognises that the health of humans, animals, plants, and the environment are closely interconnected and interdependent. Global issues such as food and water security, climate change, antimicrobial resistance, and pollution are key examples of One Health issues at the interface between human, animal, plant, and environmental health.

UHI is already involved in a wide range of activities within One Health, and One Health has been recognised as an integrating and cross-cutting theme for the university.

This Knowledge Exchange Forum seeks to bring together staff from across the partnership with interest in One Health to progress research, KE, and teaching opportunities and embed One Health interdisciplinary thinking at UHI.
